Konami and developer Bloober Team have announced that their chilling reimagining of the survival horror classic, Silent Hill 2 Remake, has shipped and digitally sold over two million copies globally.

Following its release on October 8, 2024, for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5, the game quickly garnered attention and praise.  A mere three days later, on October 11th, Konami reported surpassing the one million unit milestone.  Now, just weeks after launch, the psychological thriller has doubled its sales figures, demonstrating the enduring appeal of the Silent Hill franchise and the success of Bloober Team's modernization efforts.
