Nintendo has announced a price adjustment for Switch console and accessory repairs in Japan, effective March 26, 2025. The company cited increasing costs of repair components as the reason for the change.

The price increase will affect several Switch models, including the original Switch, the Switch Lite, and the Switch OLED model.  Joy-Con controllers are also included in the price adjustment. The increases range from 1,000 to 2,000 Japanese Yen.

Currently, this price increase is limited to Japan. Nintendo has not yet announced whether similar adjustments will be made to Switch repair pricing in other regions.
