Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Daily Login Rewards Return, But Players Aren't Thrilled

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios has reintroduced daily login rewards, offering players a chance to earn in-game items like double XP tokens, a calling card, a weapon charm, and more. This feature, last seen in 2023's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, returns as both Black Ops 6 and Warzone approach the end of Season 2.

Season 3, initially slated for March 20th, has been pushed back to April 3rd to allow for further refinement.  Publisher Activision has confirmed that this season will be a significant update, especially for Warzone players, marking the return of the popular Verdansk map. While details on Black Ops 6 content are still limited, players anticipate a wealth of new additions.

In the meantime, Black Ops 6 players can obtain new in-game items through the reinstated daily login rewards system.  To acquire the full set, players must log in on seven separate days before each reward expires.  The rewards include a double XP token, a spray, a double weapon XP token, a calling card, a double Battle Pass XP token, a sticker, and finally, a weapon charm. These rewards are automatically granted upon logging into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

However, the community reaction to these rewards has been less than enthusiastic. Some players have expressed disappointment on social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit, stating a preference for more desirable rewards like weapon camos or operator skins.  The consensus seems to be that the current offerings lack the appeal to incentivize daily logins.

Despite the lukewarm reception to the daily login rewards, Black Ops 6 continues to offer other avenues for earning in-game items.  Treyarch Studios has consistently hosted in-game events featuring cosmetic items and consumables.  Recent events like the St. Patrick's Day themed “Clover Craze” allow players to earn rewards such as emblems, calling cards, and even a new weapon blueprint by collecting clovers earned through gameplay.
