PC gamers rejoice! The Epic Games Store continues its tradition of free game giveaways with Mortal Shell and a bonus freebie: Them's Fightin' Herds.  2025 has already seen a generous offering of free titles on the platform, and the trend continues.

Currently, Epic Games Store users can claim Them's Fightin' Herds, a unique fighting game featuring My Little Pony-esque characters designed by Lauren Faust, the showrunner for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.  While the premise might seem unusual, the game received positive reviews upon its initial release.  This free offering allows players to experience the game risk-free.

Them's Fightin' Herds will be available for free until March 13th at 10:00 am CST.  After that, it will be replaced by the dark Souls-like game Mortal Shell, available for free from March 13th to March 20th. While Mortal Shell received more mixed reviews compared to Them's Fightin' Herds, it still has a dedicated fanbase.  Additionally, players can claim the Anniversary Party Favor for World of Warships during the same period.  This bonus includes the Yubari Japanese Tier 4 Cruiser, a port slot, a Japanese Commander with 3 skill points, credits, Elite Commander XP, camouflages, and containers.

While both Them's Fightin' Herds and Mortal Shell are decent free offerings appreciated by those who haven't played them, seasoned Epic Games Store users might be slightly disappointed.  Both titles were previously offered for free during the 2022 mystery game promotion. This means players who already claimed them might not find this month's offerings as exciting until March 20th.  However, those who missed out now have another chance to add these games to their digital collections.
