Overwatch 2 is rolling out an exciting Twitch Drop campaign, rewarding players with two free Loot Boxes—one of which guarantees an Epic item—to mark the arrival of its mid-Season 16 update. The mid-Season 16 update for Overwatch 2 is now live, bringing a host of balance changes, the debut of the Street Fighter 6 crossover event, an Overwatch Classic event, and the introduction of Freja in Stadium. This update serves as the midpoint between Seasons 16 and 17, with the latter set to launch on June 24.

As part of its seasonal and midseason updates, Overwatch 2 has launched a new Twitch Drop campaign with a unique twist. This time, players can earn both a standard Loot Box and an Epic Loot Box by watching five hours of any Overwatch 2 stream on Twitch before June 2. These rewards unlock eight cosmetic items, with the Epic Loot Box guaranteeing at least one high-tier drop.

• Watch any Overwatch 2 stream on Twitch from now until June 1, 11:58 PM PT to earn the following rewards:
• 2 hours: Standard Loot Box
• 5 hours: Epic Loot Box
• Claim your rewards from the Twitch Drops inventory.
• The Loot Boxes will automatically appear in your Overwatch 2 account.

Unlike previous campaigns that offered exclusive skins, the mid-Season 16 Twitch Drops focus on Loot Boxes, including the coveted Epic variant. This ensures players receive fresh cosmetics without the risk of duplicates from past shop purchases.

For those eager to expand their collections, three in-game events are currently active. By completing challenges, players can earn sprays, voice lines, and a player title from the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 collaboration, as well as player icons, a weapon charm, and additional Epic Loot Boxes through the Overwatch Classic and Stadium: Initiation events.
