Activision has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Season 4 roadmap for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, set to launch on May 29. This update brings a wealth of fresh content, including new multiplayer maps, exclusive Killstreaks, and exciting collaborations that will keep players engaged for months.

What's New in Black Ops 6 Season 4?

Season 4 introduces three brand-new 6v6 maps at launch: Fugitive, Shutdown, and Blitz (which also supports 2v2 gameplay). Mid-season updates will expand the roster with Eclipse (playable in 6v6 and 2v2) and Fringe (6v6). The standout addition is the Grim Reaper Scorestreak, a semi-automatic launcher capable of unleashing four devastating rockets—perfect for turning the tide in intense firefights.

Warzone's Major Updates

Verdansk receives a significant overhaul with The Overlook, a new point of interest featuring military checkpoints, massive interactive cranes, and horizontal ziplines. The Clash limited-time mode debuts on May 29, followed by Havoc Royale and Resurgence (Casual and Ranked) later in the season. Unique Killstreaks like the Hand Cannon and Care Package will further shake up battle royale strategies.

Zombies and Cross-IP Collaborations

Zombies mode welcomes back the fan-favorite Grief mode, alongside new Gobbleguns and three limited-time events. In a thrilling crossover, Call of Duty partners with the John Wick universe to introduce Ballerina-inspired cosmetics, celebrating the upcoming spin-off film. Operators Stitch and Omen, plus the Tracer Pack: System Breach bundle, round out the seasonal offerings.

Looking Back at Season 3

Season 3, which began on April 2, delivered seven maps (Barrage, Nomad, Haven, Signal, Blazetown, and Firing Range), new weapons like the Kilo 141 and CR-56 Amax, and Operators Hudson, Mace, and R0-Z3. The Jay and Silent Bob event bundles added a playful twist, setting a high bar for Season 4's innovations.
