Blizzard has officially announced a spectacular lineup of events and rewards to celebrate the third anniversary of its mobile MMORPG Diablo Immortal. The celebration, dubbed Threefold Rebirth, introduces four limited-time events, exclusive gifts, and a glimpse into the game's 2025 expansion roadmap.

Originally launched in 2022 as a collaboration between Blizzard and NetEase, Diablo Immortal bridges the narrative gap between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. While it may not reach the legendary status of Diablo 2: Resurrected or Diablo 4, the game successfully adapts the dark fantasy world of Sanctuary for mobile platforms with intuitive touch controls, later expanding to PC and controller support.

Anniversary Event Highlights

The anniversary celebration kicks off with four major events:

• Trial of True Evils (June 1-19): A challenging dungeon crawl with exclusive rewards
• Infernal Trials (June 4-July 2): PvE content featuring powerful new bosses
• Set Gear Reforging (June 1-19): Opportunity to upgrade legendary equipment
• The Prince's Trail (June 12-23): Story-driven questline with narrative rewards

All players will receive a free 5-Star Blood Floe Legendary Gem, while the premium Lineage of Beasts Cosmetic Set will be available for purchase. The anniversary also introduces Battle Pass 40: Last Light's Keepers, featuring unique armor sets and progression rewards.

Blizzard's ambitious 2025 update schedule includes:

• Prince of Freedom Expansion (June): New quests, Helliquary bosses, and marketplace features
• Flesh Harvest Expansion (July-September): Additional zones and gameplay mechanics
• The First & Last King Update (October-December): Climactic conclusion to the Epoch of Madness storyline
