ArenaNet has officially unveiled "Absolution," the climactic third chapter of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds, set to launch on June 3. This major update will take players deep into the heart of Bava Nisos, where the origins of the Titan threat await discovery. The summer will also bring additional events and exciting announcements for the beloved MMORPG.
The Janthir Wilds expansion began with players embarking on a diplomatic mission to the mysterious Isle of Janthir, only to find themselves battling the terrifying Titans that emerged across the land. After triumphing over these foes in the "Godspawn" update, adventurers ventured into the Mistburned Barrens during "Repentance," following the cryptic last words of the Titan Ura about a mysterious gate.
Now, "Absolution" promises to deliver the grand finale to this gripping storyline. Players will explore the ruined Mursaat city at the core of Bava Nisos, facing twisted creatures and surreal environments shaped by 300 years of Titan and Mursaat magic. The Wayfinder's mission is clear: close the gate to the Mists and end the Titan menace forever.
