Sunblink has launched the exciting Update 2.6.1 for Hello Kitty Island Adventure on Apple Arcade, marking the first major content drop since April's visitor capacity expansion. Titled Under the Sea Celebration, this aquatic-themed event brings fresh gameplay elements and cosmetic rewards to Sanrio's charming life-simulation adventure.

Originally debuting on Apple Arcade in July 2023, the game expanded its horizons with Nintendo Switch and PC releases in January 2025. While the multi-platform launch introduced the experience to new audiences, it required subsequent updates to align features across all versions – a process completed through April and May patches.

From May 28 through July 3, players can immerse themselves in the returning Under the Sea Celebration event. The update introduces:

• Mermaid Scales: Collectible currency found by popping bubbles
• Aquatic Gear: Exchange scales for ocean-themed outfits and furniture
• Rainbow Reef Exploration: Discover new underwater areas in style
