While a community-created Duos Mod for Elden Ring Nightreign provided a temporary solution, fans eagerly awaited official support. Now, their wishes have been granted.

Elden Ring Nightreign recently surpassed 3.5 million players, a testament to its growing community. To celebrate, the developers have announced upcoming DLC, set to release later in 2025, alongside enhanced battles against Nightlords.

The most anticipated update is the addition of a dedicated Duo Expeditions mode, allowing two players to team up. The absence of this feature at launch drew comparisons to games like Fortnite and Call of Duty Warzone, which cater to various party sizes. Now, players can enjoy a balanced two-player experience.

The solo mode initially faced balancing issues, but the June 2025 update addressed these concerns. Solo players now earn more runes and benefit from the Automatic Revival Upon Defeat effect, granting a second chance during boss fights.
