GTA Online's Next Major Update Could Introduce Luxury Mansions
2025-06-17 23:23:28The upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online update might finally introduce purchasable mansions to the game. Following the recent "Money Fronts" update on June 17, data miners quickly discovered hints pointing toward a significant content drop planned for later this year.
Since its launch in 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online has consistently received major updates twice a year—typically in summer (June) and winter (December). After "Agents of Sabotage" in December 2024, players eagerly anticipated new content, which arrived with the "Money Fronts" update. While fans explore new businesses and vehicles, data miners have already uncovered details about the next potential update.
Shortly after the latest update, data miners like Floorball found in-game files referencing mansions. One text string mentions: "You have earned an exclusive discount on a future property purchase with Prix Luxury Real Estate. They will be in contact again soon when properties become available."
Currently, Prix Luxury Real Estate doesn't exist in the game, suggesting a new website and properties will be introduced. The leak also hints at three missions tied to luxury property development, likely arriving in December based on Rockstar's usual update schedule.
With Grand Theft Auto 6 on the horizon, this December update could be one of the last major additions to GTA Online. Many speculate that Rockstar will eventually sunset the current version in favor of a GTA Online 2 alongside GTA 6.
Meanwhile, GTA 6's release has been delayed to May 2026, giving players more time to enjoy GTA Online's evolving world. The game will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no PC release confirmed yet.
