The highly anticipated Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remaster has opened pre-loading for Xbox Series X|S users, building excitement for its official release on July 11. This marks the next chapter in Activision's revitalization of the legendary skateboarding franchise, following the successful Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remake from 2020.

While the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be a physical release, Xbox players can now download placeholder files weighing 43.89 GB if they've pre-ordered the game or subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This head start ensures players can jump straight into the action when the servers go live.

The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with exclusive content including the ability to play as the Doom Slayer, while all players can look forward to new skaters, an expanded soundtrack, and fresh gear options. Notably absent is Pro Skater 4's original career mode, though developers have promised alternative progression systems.

Currently, pre-load is only available for Xbox Series X|S, with other platforms including PC (Microsoft Store), Xbox One, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch 2 expected to follow soon. The game supports Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing purchases to carry across Xbox and Windows platforms.
