Pokemon Sleep Celebrates Second Anniversary with Exciting Events and New Pokemon
2025-07-02 07:23:04The highly anticipated Second Anniversary Fest for Pokemon Sleep is set to begin on July 14, marking two years since the unique sleep-tracking game launched. However, the celebrations will kick off even earlier with a special Prelude Event, giving players a taste of what's to come.
Pokemon Sleep offers a distinctive gaming experience by combining Pokemon collection with sleep tracking. The app uses smartphone sensors to monitor sleep patterns, rewarding players with rare Pokemon encounters when they maintain healthy sleep habits. With the anniversary update, three beloved starter Pokemon from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire - Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip - will make their debut in the game along with their evolved forms.
The anniversary celebrations will span nearly the entire month of July, with different events and bonuses available throughout. Starting July 14 at 3:00 PM local time, players can encounter the new Hoenn region starters in their research areas. More details about special event bonuses will be revealed closer to the launch date.
Even before the main event begins, players can enjoy the Anniversary Prelude from July 7-14. During this period, the Paldea starters from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly - will appear more frequently. Players will receive 150 bonus sleep points daily, along with 1.5x Dream Shard bonuses and increased cooking pot sizes (3x on Sundays).
For optimal Pokemon encounters, players should choose their campsite strategically based on which starters they want to find. The different islands offer varied encounter rates for specific Pokemon families, with some locations featuring exclusive appearances for certain evolutionary lines.
