Designed as an Electro-Charged Support, Ineffa enhances this elemental reaction, making it more potent in combat. As a result, Version 5.8 is heavily themed around Electro-Charged gameplay.

Both the Spiral Abyss and the Stygian Onslaught event in Genshin Impact will cater to Ineffa's abilities in Version 5.8. Players without a well-built Electro-Charged team may find themselves at a disadvantage. Fortunately, the Natlan expansion has introduced several viable alternatives, such as Ororon and Ifa, who can complement Ineffa's playstyle.

Version 5.8 is set to provide players with a budget-friendly Electro-Charged team option by featuring Fischl and Xingqiu on the Event Banners. These two 4-Star characters, available since the game's launch, remain highly valuable for endgame builds. Recent leaks from HomDGCat suggest that combat trials for Fischl and Xingqiu have been updated, hinting at their inclusion in the upcoming banners.

The 5-Star lineup for Version 5.8 includes Ineffa, Mualani, Chasca, and Citlali. While the exact order of their banners is still unknown, Fischl and Xingqiu are expected to appear alongside Ineffa. Additionally, Bennett will receive a new skin during this update, increasing the likelihood of his inclusion in the Event Banners. Given his synergy with Chasca and Citlali, Bennett might run opposite Ineffa, Fischl, and Xingqiu.

Another potential candidate for the banners is Ifa, as recent updates have shown that 4-Star characters can rerun as early as two patches after their debut. Characters like Sucrose or Ifa would perfectly round out a budget Electro-Charged team, offering players a viable option for tackling endgame content.
