Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Wilds will receive its third major content update in late September. While the exact release date remains undisclosed, the developer confirmed that Title Update 3 will introduce exciting new features to the critically acclaimed action RPG.

Since its February 28 launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Monster Hunter Wilds has dominated 2025's gaming landscape. With an impressive 89/100 score on OpenCritic and over 10 million units sold within two months, it became Capcom's fastest-selling title in history. The game continues to receive strong post-launch support through regular updates.

The upcoming Title Update 3 follows the successful June 30 release of Title Update 2, maintaining Capcom's commitment to expanding the game's content. While details remain scarce, the developer confirmed the addition of a new major monster and the return of the Festival of Accord seasonal event.

The Festival of Accord will offer players exclusive rewards, similar to the Blossomdance spring event which featured numerous cosmetic items for character customization. Capcom promises more information about these features as the September release approaches.

Despite its commercial success, Monster Hunter Wilds has seen a 98% drop in Steam concurrent players since launch. However, the dedicated community remains optimistic about the game's future, encouraged by Capcom's ongoing support and planned content updates.
