This continues Sony's tradition of releasing themed hardware for major first-party exclusives, following similar bundles for games like Spider-Man 2.

The decision to skip the original PS5 model hasn't gone unnoticed. Reddit's PlayStation community has been vocal about their frustration, with many users criticizing Sony for what they see as abandoning early adopters. One particularly frustrated user commented: 'It's clear Sony only cares about what you've bought from them recently.'
