Sony has revealed the exciting lineup of free PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August 2025, headlined by the critically acclaimed Soulslike adventure Lies of P. This Belle Époque-inspired title joins two other diverse offerings: the intense survival game DayZ and the anime-based fighter My Hero One's Justice 2.

Inspired by Carlo Collodi's classic The Adventures of Pinocchio, Lies of P transports players to the cursed city of Krat, where they control a mechanized version of the famous puppet battling grotesque creatures amidst a puppet uprising and petrification epidemic. The game has earned widespread praise for its stunning visuals, atmospheric sound design, and finely-tuned Soulslike mechanics.
