Level Infinite has unveiled Rust Mobile through an exciting cinematic trailer, marking the arrival of the legendary survival game on mobile devices. Fans can now pre-register for this highly anticipated adaptation that promises to deliver the same intense multiplayer survival experience that made Rust famous.

Originally developed by Facepunch Studios, Rust first launched in early access in December 2013 before its full PC release in February 2018. The game is renowned for its merciless open-world survival mechanics where players start with minimal resources and must scavenge, craft, and fight to survive against both wildlife and other players across procedurally generated environments. Over the years, Facepunch has continuously enhanced the game with updates including next-gen upgrades, quality-of-life improvements, and a redesigned mission system.

Level Infinite's cinematic trailer for Rust Mobile highlights how the mobile version will retain the core elements that define the original game—ruthless PvP combat, base raiding, and expansive open-world exploration—while introducing mobile-specific innovations. The developers describe it as a "fully explorable sandbox" that maintains the original's unforgiving gameplay.

Players can pre-register for Rust Mobile on the official website, rustmobile.com. Additionally, a hands-on demo will be available at gamescom 2025 in Cologne from August 20-24, offering attendees exclusive posters and merchandise. The developers have emphasized that the game has evolved significantly since its initial tech test earlier in 2025, promising a more polished experience in Rust's immersive world.

Despite being over a decade old, Rust continues to thrive, setting a new concurrent player record in early 2025 with 262,284 active users on Steam. The game's executive producer recently thanked the community and teased upcoming content. The latest update, released on July 3, introduced a party system, improved team invites, and snappable deployables.
