Activision has officially confirmed platforms for Black Ops 7, including PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. However, the absence of Nintendo Switch 2 from the initial lineup has raised questions among fans about the status of Microsoft's agreement with Nintendo.

The Microsoft-Nintendo partnership was established in 2023 during Microsoft's acquisition of Activision-Blizzard.
