This trend follows Talegames' recent decision to delay Faeland because of Hollow Knight: Silksong. The 8-bit inspired RPG Faeland was originally scheduled to debut shortly after Silksong, but its creators opted to reschedule to ensure their project receives "the attention and recognition it merits." As one of 2025's most anticipated releases, Hollow Knight: Silksong continues to impact the gaming industry's release calendar, with another title now adjusting its timeline around Hornet's forthcoming journey.

Panik Arcade has officially moved CloverPit's release to Friday, September 26th. In an announcement on CloverPit's Steam page, the development team clarified that this strategic decision was made to prevent their game's launch from being overshadowed, as it was initially planned for September 3rd, merely one day before Hollow Knight: Silksong arrives. The statement further explained that the adjustment was necessary to provide the game with its optimal opportunity for success, and despite the schedule change, Panik Arcade intends to utilize the additional development time to refine CloverPit. The developers also expressed their hope for strong player support upon the game's eventual release.

CloverPit presents itself as a roguelite experience drawing inspiration from successful indie titles including the popular Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, where players become trapped within a self-created nightmare scenario. Confined to a deteriorating cell equipped only with an ATM and gambling machine, participants must settle their mounting debts or confront catastrophic outcomes.
