Overload is a 6v6 respawn-based mode where teams compete to carry a single Overload Device into enemy territory to score points.

Mode Overview

In Overload, the objective is to secure the Overload Device and bring it to one of two designated zones near the enemy team's starting spawn. The device's location is always visible on the HUD and Tac-Map, making it a focal point for both teams. Players holding the device gain a personal radar to detect nearby threats, aiding in short-range awareness during a run.

Match Flow

• Device Spawning: Only one Overload Device spawns on the map at a time.
• Scoring: Entering and disrupting a valid enemy zone with the device scores a point and causes a new device to spawn on the field.
• Respawns: Standard respawns are active throughout the match.
• Halftime: At halftime, teams switch sides, and zone locations flip accordingly.

Strategic Elements

Overload emphasizes team coordination and strategy. With the device's location public to all players, controlling routes, staging escorts, and timing intercepts become crucial. The offense can choose which of the two enemy-side zones to attack, creating opportunities for misdirection and forcing defenders to split their forces.

Scoring and Timing

• Immediate Reset: A fresh device appears after each point, so teams must quickly transition from celebrating a score to controlling the map for the next fight.
• Information Parity: Since the device's location is shared with both teams, opening lanes and blocking flanks is often more effective than attempting to "sneak" across mid.

HUD and Radar

• Tac-Map Marker: Use it to read enemy pathing. If the icon drifts toward a tight lane, pinch from cut-offs instead of chasing directly.
• Carrier Radar: The personal radar benefits the holder; leverage it to pre-aim close corners and avoid avoidable trades. Escorts should trust the carrier's callouts and clear the next choke, not the one the radar already exposed.
