Recent Genshin Impact leaks offer players a sneak peek at the overworld map for the Great Volcano of Tollan, the upcoming Natlan zone scheduled for Version 5.5. Although the Natlan Archon Quest concluded in Version 5.3, the Traveler's adventures in the Pyro Nation are far from over. After a brief detour to Inazuma in Version 5.4, players will return to Natlan to continue the World Quest series within the fiery depths of the Great Volcano of Tollan.

This third Natlan map expansion promises a wealth of content, featuring both aerial and subterranean layers. Nestled on the volcano's northern slopes, players will also encounter the Collective of Plenty. By assisting this group, players can boost their reputation with Natlan's Electro Tribe. Completing their Tribal Chronicle will further unveil Varesa's personal narrative.

Leaker insights suggest that the Great Volcano of Tollan will be a substantial zone located in southwestern Natlan.  The leaked map currently displays only the overworld portion.  However, players can anticipate exploring a separate, potentially even larger, subterranean area.  This expansive update draws comparisons to The Chasm, a highly acclaimed Genshin Impact region. While it remains to be seen whether the Great Volcano of Tollan will reach the same heights, players can certainly expect a sizable adventure in Version 5.5.

The leaked map interestingly suggests that the Collective of Plenty has built their settlement directly into the active volcano. This raises questions about the safety of such a location. However, considering the Tatankasaurs' companionship with the Collective of Plenty and Varesa's known abilities, it's plausible they possess some resistance to the volcano's molten lava, known as Liquid Phlogiston.

Players can access this new zone in Version 5.5 through a new path from the Stadium of the Sacred Flame or by swimming from the People of the Springs. The Great Volcano of Tollan will also introduce a new Artifact Domain and a new World Boss, providing further challenges and rewards. Version 5.5 is anticipated to launch on March 26, 2025.
