A fresh leak has surfaced, suggesting that the next Pokemon TCG Pocket miniset will revolve around the enigmatic Ultra Beasts. Since its launch, Pokemon TCG Pocket has consistently delivered new cards through expansions, minisets, and special events.

Minisets in Pokemon TCG Pocket serve as smaller releases between major expansions, offering a curated selection of cards. The debut miniset, Mythical Island, spotlighted Mythical Pokemon like Celebi and Mew, introducing 86 new cards in December 2024. Following this, Triumphant Light—a Pokemon TCG Pocket miniset centered on Arceus—arrived in February 2025 with 96 new cards. The latest, Shiny Revelry, launched in March 2025, brought 111 cards, including the first Shiny Pokemon. Now, rumors point to Ultra Beasts taking the spotlight in the next installment.

Centro Leaks has shared a new leak claiming that Ultra Beasts will be the theme of the next Pokemon TCG Pocket miniset. The leak also indicates that the miniset will be released on May 29, almost a month after the Celestial Guardians expansion, which was added on April 30. It's important to note that the leak doesn't give any additional information about how many cards the miniset will have, whether the Ultra Beasts will be presented as some high rarity card, or even if there's a possibility of a new mechanic being added.

Ultra Beasts are a group of 11 extradimensional pocket monsters introduced in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. In the games, players team up with Wicke from the Aether Foundation and Looker from the International Police to track down these mysterious creatures. Beyond the games and anime, Ultra Beasts have also appeared in the TCG, first debuting in the 2017 Crimson Invasion expansion. These cards often feature unique interactions with specific attacks, abilities, and Trainer cards.

For now, the information from Centro Leaks remains unverified and should be taken with caution until an official announcement from the developers. While fans await confirmation from deNA or further leaks, the Celestial Guardians expansion offers 239 new cards to collect, including 155 obtainable through booster packs—such as the first immersive Supporter cards—and 84 secret cards.
