Instead, the studio is fully committed to refining and enhancing the current experience. This news comes despite the game's overwhelming success, which has left fans eagerly hoping for additional content.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has taken the gaming world by storm, blending turn-based combat with real-time mechanics like dodging and parrying. The game's dark fantasy aesthetic and deep narrative—centered on themes of mortality and perseverance—have resonated with players worldwide. Within just 24 hours of launch, it sold 500,000 copies, and by the 12-day mark, it had surpassed 2 million units sold.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Sandfall Interactive's co-founders, Guillaume Broche and Tom Guillermin, stated that the team is entirely focused on improving the base game rather than expanding it with DLC.
