Respawn Entertainment has temporarily disabled Revenant in Apex Legends Season 25 after uncovering a game-breaking bug related to his Ultimate ability. Although Revenant isn't among the most popular Legends in Apex Legends, this exploit made him an unstoppable force, forcing developers to take immediate action.

Season 25 launched on May 6, introducing fresh content, including Sparrow—the first new Legend since Alter in Season 21. The update also revived Arenas as a Limited-Time Mode (LTM) and implemented numerous weapon and character balance changes. However, the season's rollout hasn't been flawless, with players encountering multiple bugs, including one tied to Revenant's Ultimate. By following a simple sequence, Revenant could become invulnerable while using Forged Shadows.

Due to this exploit, Respawn has temporarily pulled Revenant from the game. The studio announced the removal on social media, confirming that a fix is in progress for multiple modes, including Arenas and Mixtape. Currently, Revenant's icon is missing from the Skirmisher category in the Apex Legends roster. While developers are addressing the issue, there's no confirmed timeline for Revenant's return.

Although Respawn hasn't officially demonstrated the glitch, social media is flooded with clips showcasing the exploit. Apex Legends YouTuber bobz recently uploaded a tutorial revealing how to trigger the bug. According to bobz, Revenant could achieve invincibility if hit by a grenade immediately after activating his Ultimate. This allowed him to absorb infinite damage in shadow form, enabling reckless pushes without fear of elimination. Predictably, Ranked matches saw widespread abuse of this exploit, frustrating countless players.

This Revenant bug follows another disruptive glitch involving the new Legend Sparrow, which caused game crashes when Sparrow's Stinger Bolt interacted with Mirage's Ultimate. While Respawn has reportedly patched that issue, other bugs continue to emerge.

Fans hope for a swift resolution so Revenant can rejoin the roster. Apex Legends thrives on its diverse cast of Legends, and while many other Apex Legends characters remain viable, this bug is a setback for Revenant mains.
