Infinity Nikki Players Receive Free Compensation for Version 1.5 Issues
2025-05-25 09:14:04Nearly a month after the release of Version 1.5 "Bubble Season," Infinity Nikki players are receiving free compensation for the issues caused by the update. The Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 update, launched on April 29, introduced new content but also brought problems that prevented players from accessing certain rewards.
Despite the game's initial success following its December 2024 launch, Version 1.5 has been controversial. Players have criticized the increased costume costs, unexpected deductions of in-game currency, and other issues, particularly on the Steam version. The backlash led to a Mixed user rating on Steam, which later dropped to Mostly Negative as players expressed their dissatisfaction with Infold Games and Papergames.
A Reddit user, badash915, recently received 90 Diamonds and one Vital Energy as compensation for the Version 1.5 issues, which included login problems and difficulties claiming daily rewards. The player noted that no customer service intervention was required, suggesting the compensation is being rolled out automatically to affected players. Rewards are delivered via in-game mail.
The Reddit post gained significant attention, with many players hopeful that the compensation signals Infold Games' responsiveness to community feedback. Fans are optimistic that continued fixes and compensations will help the game recover from its recent setbacks.
Players still have time to enjoy Version 1.5 events before Version 1.6 launches on June 12. Due to the issues, the developers extended several events, including Chase the Bubbles!, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties?, to the June 12 deadline. Additional compensation for Version 1.6 maintenance will also be provided post-update.
