As reported by IGN, version 3.0.1 of the Nintendo Switch App introduces several notable improvements. The redesigned interface offers more intuitive navigation, while new functionality specifically supports the Switch 2's GameChat feature. Users can now easily manage friend invitations and organize their contacts list directly through the app. Additionally, the update simplifies media management by allowing direct uploads of screenshots and gameplay videos from the console to the mobile app. The patch notes also mention various quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

The Switch 2 represents a significant leap forward from its predecessor, featuring 4K resolution support when docked, a larger display, and 256GB of internal storage - a substantial upgrade from the original model's 32GB capacity.
