Team Asobi has unveiled thrilling new content for Astro Bot, set to launch on July 10. Players can look forward to five fresh challenge levels, each designed to test their platforming skills. The announcement was made during the recent PlayStation State of Play, showcasing the developer's commitment to expanding the 2024 Game of the Year.

The upcoming levels, named Twin-Frog Trouble, Suck It Up, Handhold Havoc, High Inflation, and a secret fifth level, promise unique gameplay mechanics. These stages will be part of the Vicious Void Galaxy, bringing the total number of planets in the game to 90. Additionally, players can rescue special bots, including Atsu from Ghost of Yotei, adding more charm to the already beloved title.

In 2025, Sony will release an updated Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller. This new version features a redesigned touch pad, paying homage to the iconic robot while introducing a fresh twist.
