Leaks have become a persistent issue in the gacha gaming community, with unauthorized disclosures of datamined content—ranging from unreleased characters to story elements—frequently surfacing on social media. This follows their previous lawsuit against Ubatcha, a well-known HoYoverse leaker, for disseminating Genshin Impact details.

The latest lawsuit, filed on June 6, 2025, targets a player identified as Alfredo Lopez. According to court documents obtained by Game File, Lopez allegedly streamed gameplay featuring the unreleased 5-star character Castorice a month before her official debut in Version 3.2. Cognosphere seeks $150,000 in damages if Lopez is found liable for copyright infringement.
