The highly anticipated third Turbulent Timeways event has officially begun in World of Warcraft, offering players seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking adventures through different expansions. Running from now until August 5, this nostalgic journey starts and concludes with the newly introduced Battle for Azeroth Timewalking experience.

With the recent launch of Patch 11.1.7, players can enjoy numerous new features including the Rise of the Red Dawn campaign, Lorewalking, and Overcharged Delves. The Greedy Emissary Diablo event is also set to begin on July 1, adding more excitement to this content-rich update.

Latest Game Information

The Turbulent Timeways event follows a carefully planned schedule, rotating through seven different expansions each week:

  • June 17-23: Battle for Azeroth
  • June 24-30: Mists of Pandaria
  • July 1-7: The Burning Crusade
  • July 8-14: Warlords of Draenor
  • July 15-21: Legion
  • July 22-28: Classic
  • July 29-August 4: Battle for Azeroth

Participants who complete dungeons during the event will receive the Knowledge of the Timeways buff, which stacks to increase experience gains by 5%. Achieving four stacks transforms it into Mastery of the Timeways, boosting the bonus to 30%. Players who maintain this buff for five out of the seven weeks will earn the Master of the Turbulent Timeways III achievement and the exclusive Chrono Corsair mount.

Latest Game Information

The Battle for Azeroth Timewalking introduces exciting new rewards available for purchase with Timewarped Badges from vendors in Boralus and Dazar'alor. These include the Moonlit Nightsaber and Ivory Sagemane mounts, transformation toys like the Sea-Blessed Shrine and Lightning-Blessed Spire, and stylish Kul Tiran trench coats. Data miners have also uncovered potential rewards such as Sylvanas Windrunner's bow, suggesting players should check vendors regularly for new items.

For those who missed previous Turbulent Timeways rewards like the Sandy Shalewing or Timely Buzzbee, these items are now available for 5,000 Timewarped Badges. The current Chrono Corsair mount will likely follow the same pattern in future events.

It's worth noting that Timewalking dungeons have received difficulty adjustments in Patch 11.1.7, with increased enemy health and damage scaling. However, the reward has been boosted to 25 Timewarped Badges per completion to compensate for the added challenge.
