However, keen-eyed adventurers have noticed two significant absences in this otherwise substantial update: the lack of voice acting for the important character Geya'rah and no accompanying Twitch Drops to mark the patch's release.

This latest update serves as the final installment for The War Within Season 2, introducing several exciting features that have players buzzing. These include the innovative Lorewalking system, challenging Overcharged Delves, and a brand-new story chapter called Rise of the Red Dawn that continues the ongoing narrative.

Among the notable additions is the third iteration of the popular Turbulent Timeways event, offering players multiple weeks of experience bonuses, unique rewards, and fresh Timewalking dungeon content. This recurring event has become a fan favorite for its ability to breathe new life into older content while providing valuable progression opportunities.

The absence of voice acting for Geya'rah, the Mag'har leader and daughter of Durotan and Draka from the alternate Draenor timeline, has particularly stood out to players. As a major Horde representative in the Rise of the Red Dawn campaign, her silent presence contrasts sharply with fully voiced characters like Faerin Lothar, Danath Trollbane, and Eitrigg.

Industry observers suggest the missing voice lines may relate to the recent SAG-AFTRA video game acting strikes, which only recently concluded. Geya'rah's voice actor, Laila Berzins - known for her roles in Genshin Impact, Hades, and as Emberthal in World of Warcraft - hasn't commented publicly on the situation, leaving room for speculation about whether this was a technical issue or a show of solidarity with the striking actors.

Similarly conspicuous is the lack of Twitch Drops accompanying this update. Since their introduction with Dragonflight in November 2022, these promotional rewards have become an expected part of each major patch. Their absence now marks a departure from what had become a reliable pattern, though Blizzard hasn't provided any official explanation for skipping them this time.

This isn't the first instance of missing voice work in recent World of Warcraft updates. Patch 11.1 similarly featured an unvoiced Renzik "The Shiv," another character with significant story involvement. With the voice actor strike now resolved, players remain hopeful that these missing performances might be added in future updates.
