Scheduled for June 26 release across all platforms, this free enhancement package represents the studio's commitment to their zombie survival masterpiece while setting the stage for Dying Light: The Beast arriving August 22.

The 2015 survival horror title revolutionized zombie gameplay with its fluid parkour mechanics and day-night cycle tension. While 2022's Dying Light 2 Stay Human expanded the universe, many fans longed for closure regarding Kyle Crane's story - a narrative thread finally continuing in The Beast. The Retouched Update serves as both a celebration and technical bridge between these chapters.

Techland's development team has meticulously upscaled environmental textures and implemented physics-based rendering improvements. Lead 3D Artist Krzysztof Knefel personally supervised asset refinements, particularly enhancing concrete surfaces and architectural details throughout the quarantined city of Harran.
