Xbox Game Pass members now have access to Call of Duty: WW2 starting today, June 30, 2025. This highly anticipated title serves as the 17th and final game added to Microsoft's subscription service this month, bringing the total number of new releases on Xbox Game Pass this year to an impressive 80.

Developed primarily by Sledgehammer Games with additional support from Raven Software, Call of Duty: WW2 represents the second-to-last installment in Activision's World War II-themed series, preceding CoD: Vanguard (2021). The game received widespread critical acclaim upon its original release, evidenced by its 'Strong' rating on OpenCritic with an average score of 76 and a 70% recommendation rate from reviewers. Notably, Call of Duty: WW2 dominated 2017's sales charts, becoming the year's best-selling console game and third best-selling title overall with approximately 20.6 million copies sold.

Making its debut on Xbox Game Pass nearly eight years after its initial release, Call of Duty: WW2 joins as the concluding title in the June 2025 lineup. Available across all non-Core subscription tiers, this 2017 FPS notably lacks Xbox Cloud Gaming support at launch - continuing a trend observed with recent Call of Duty additions to the service, where only Black Ops 6 currently offers streaming capabilities.
