Behaviour Interactive is expanding the universe of Dead by Daylight with an exciting new crossover, introducing three beloved characters from AMC’s The Walking Dead: Rick Grimes, Michonne, and Daryl Dixon. These characters are now available in the Public Test Build (PTB), with the full chapter set to launch on July 29.

Since its debut in 2016, Dead by Daylight has become a hub for horror and pop culture crossovers, featuring legendary figures from franchises like Halloween, Stranger Things, and Resident Evil. Each collaboration brings fresh content, including playable characters, maps, and unique perks, enriching the game’s eerie atmosphere.

The latest chapter draws inspiration from The Walking Dead, adding Rick Grimes and Michonne as survivors. Daryl Dixon joins as a Legendary Outfit for Rick, complete with voice acting by Norman Reedus. Andrew Lincoln also lends his voice to Rick Grimes, enhancing the authenticity of the experience. New outfits for Rick and Michonne, inspired by pivotal moments in the series, further immerse players in the apocalyptic world.

Characters and Their Unique Perks

The crossover introduces distinct abilities for each character:

• Rick Grimes: Players can replace Broken Pallets with Fragile Pallets for better evasion. His perks also allow survivors to become silent and hide blood pools after unhooking, and conceal injury signs if a teammate stuns the killer.
• Michonne: Her perks emphasize teamwork, offering instant recovery while downed if she’s been healing others, surprise stuns by vaulting near the killer, and endurance boosts for injured teammates.

A special map tile on the Garden of Joy will feature iconic Walking Dead locations, such as the prison and the infamous hospital doors. Fans can look forward to these additions when the chapter releases on July 29.
