Marvel Rivals Unveils Exclusive Fantastic Four Skins and Summer Event

Marvel Rivals has unveiled an exciting lineup of new character skins inspired by the highly anticipated film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Players can now get a glimpse of the fresh looks for Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, The Thing, and Human Torch, all designed to mirror their cinematic counterparts. NetEase Games, the developer behind Marvel Rivals, recently launched Season 3, introducing the formidable villain Knull as the primary antagonist.

The game's Summer Special event is currently live, offering a variety of exclusive skins available only for a limited time. New costumes for Psylocke and Loki are now available in the in-game shop, while Thor, The Thing, and Luna Snow's skins are tied to the event pass. Players who progress through the pass can unlock Thor's Worthy Waves cosmetics for free, though The Thing and Luna Snow's outfits require purchasing the premium version. Rumors suggest even more summer-themed skins may debut after the Season 3.5 update on August 8.

NetEase Games recently shared a preview of the new Fantastic Four: First Steps-inspired skins on Twitter. The designs feature a powder-blue fabric with white accents, giving the heroes a retro aesthetic. While the film premieres on July 25, players can acquire these skins a day earlier, on July 24 at 7 PM PDT. However, some fans have expressed concerns as the trailer didn’t showcase an MVP animation, and details about accessories and pricing remain undisclosed.

In addition to the new skins, Marvel Rivals will introduce a special team-up mechanic coinciding with the film's release. This feature allows Human Torch to pick up The Thing and hurl him at enemies, reminiscent of a scene from the movie’s trailer. Meanwhile, Fortnite is also joining the Fantastic Four collaboration, offering skins for each team member, though pricing details are yet to be announced.
