Exciting news for The First Descendant fans! The highly anticipated Season 3 Breakthrough demo is now available, offering players an exclusive preview of what's coming in the full update. This demo showcases the expansive new Axion Plains battlefield along with several other major additions coming to Nexon's popular action RPG.

Scheduled for full release on August 7, Season 3 represents one of the most significant updates since the game's launch. Players will encounter the massive Axion Plains environment, gain access to the new Hover Bike vehicle, participate in challenging eight-player Colossus Field Raids, and unlock the new Descendant Nell. The update also brings the much-awaited NieR: Automata crossover, featuring iconic character skins for 2B and A2.

This curated demo experience allows players to explore key elements of the Breakthrough update across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The Axion Plains serves as the primary setting, described by Nexon as the 'centerpiece of Season 3.' Demo participants can test Nell's abilities, battle new Legion of Breach enemies, experience the Hover Bike's mobility, and confront the formidable Wall Crasher boss.

Completing the demo comes with immediate rewards including a Spoils Box and Crystallization Catalyst. Additionally, players who complete a post-demo survey will receive another Crystallization Catalyst after August 13. The 'Axion Plains: First Look Demo Event' offers further incentives like exclusive titles, gold currency, and three unique Hover Bike paint jobs.

Nexon is also running a pre-registration campaign for the full Season 3 update. Players who sign up can earn exclusive rewards including a Descendant Selection Box, special title, and milestone bonuses like a Transcendent Module and Ultimate Weapon Selection Box. If pre-registrations reach one million, all players will receive an Ultimate Descendant Selection Box.
