Scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025, this limited-time event will run from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time, offering players enhanced opportunities to catch this beloved Generation 4 Pokemon.

The event brings several attractive bonuses for players. Munchlax will appear more frequently in 2 km Eggs during the event period, with increased chances of encountering its shiny variant. Additionally, players will earn double Candy from all egg hatches, and PokeStops will have a higher probability of dropping 2 km Eggs.

Notably, the event duration has been extended to six hours, addressing previous player feedback about Hatch Days being too short. Niantic has also implemented an extended bonus period where hatch distances will be halved from August 7 at 10:00 AM through the end of the event on August 9.
