This means rhythm game enthusiasts have less than two months to purchase this unique title before it becomes unavailable for digital purchase.
Originally launched on January 27, 2022, The Drum Master marked the first Xbox-exclusive entry in the long-running Taiko no Tatsujin series, which began in the early 2000s. The game challenges players to master traditional Japanese taiko drumming across more than 70 songs, offering a vibrant anime-inspired rhythm experience.
The delisting announcement appeared on the game's official website, though Bandai Namco didn't specify the reasons behind this decision. What makes this particularly disappointing for fans is that The Drum Master never received a physical release, meaning the Xbox Store is currently the only way to obtain the game.
Currently priced at $49.99 on the Xbox Store, the base game will become unavailable after September 30, though DLC content will remain purchasable. Existing owners will retain access to the game and can re-download it as needed.
