Originally scheduled to conclude in August, the event extension comes as welcome news for players who faced technical difficulties, particularly on console platforms. The additional weeks provide ample opportunity to complete all four weeks' worth of quests and claim every available reward.

Nature's Calling serves as a thematic prelude to the upcoming Enchanted by Nature expansion pack, emphasizing outdoor activities and nature-based gameplay. Through completing event quests, players not only earn rewards but also significantly develop their Sims' Handiness Skill - potentially reaching maximum proficiency by the event's conclusion.

The event structure follows The Sims 4's successful limited-time event model, typically running for six weeks with additional completion time. However, connectivity issues affecting console players prompted the development team to extend the Nature's Calling event duration, ensuring all participants have equal opportunity to enjoy the content.

Among the event's benefits is the ability to access special in-game locations like the Forgotten Grotto in Oasis Springs, available to Sims who've sufficiently developed their skills through event participation. The extension means players now have until September 2 to complete all quests and claim their rewards before the event concludes.
