In a recent financial report, the studio confirmed that the remakes, which will combine the 2001 and 2003 titles into a single experience, are progressing steadily and remain in full production. Additionally, the team revealed that the project is nearing its next major development phase.

The past few years have been incredibly busy for Remedy Entertainment, with the studio releasing three major titles in just four years. In 2021, they launched a remastered version of Alan Wake, likely to build excitement for its 2023 sequel, Alan Wake 2. More recently, Remedy ventured into multiplayer gaming with FBC: Firebreak, a title set in the same universe as the critically acclaimed Control. However, unlike Control, FBC: Firebreak received mixed reviews, particularly due to its onboarding process and mission structure.

Despite their packed schedule, Remedy continues to push forward with the Max Payne remakes.
