The highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail has officially announced Cerydra as the second five-star character joining the game in Version 3.5. Following the introduction of Amphoreus, the developers have continued expanding the roster with powerful new members of the Chrysos Heirs faction.

As Honkai: Star Rail gears up for its 3.4 update, players can look forward to a special livestream scheduled for June 20, which will reveal details about Phainon's playable debut and other significant events. Meanwhile, the game has already teased content for future updates, including this latest addition to the Chrysos Heirs lineup.

Through official social media channels, Honkai: Star Rail revealed that Cerydra will be a 5-Star Wind character following the Harmony Path. Her design features a light blue color scheme with distinctive mismatched shoes, a crown, and a scepter that hints at chess-related motifs. As a Chrysos Heir and demigod of law with Coreflame connected to the titan Talaton, Cerydra promises to bring unique gameplay mechanics to the roster.

Cerydra's backstory reveals she once led an army that defended Okhema against three allied city-states. With Hysilens' assistance, she ended the Chrysos War and established herself as Okhema's ruler, initiating the Flame-Chase Journey. Though her efforts brought prosperity to Okhema, a devastating military defeat later made her withdraw from public life.

Leaks suggest Cerydra's abilities will make her an excellent support character for Phainon while also enhancing allies' Memosprites. With her announcement alongside Hysilens, only the Earth and Time demigods remain to complete the Chrysos Heirs faction.

While players await Version 3.5, the upcoming 3.4 update will feature Phainon's banner and introduce Saber and Archer from the Fate/Stay Night collaboration. More details about these crossover characters will be revealed in the next special program.
