Square Enix has officially announced its participation in Tokyo Game Show 2025, bringing an exciting array of upcoming titles for hands-on demonstrations. The event, scheduled from September 25 to 28, will feature the company's exclusive booth showcasing games such as Octopath Traveler 0, Killer Inn, and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

Following their successful showcase at the 2024 event, which included titles like Visions of Mana and Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster, Square Enix continues its tradition of offering fans immersive gaming experiences. This year's lineup promises to be equally captivating, with free playable demos for some of the most anticipated releases from the renowned game developer.

The company's official announcement confirms four major titles will be available for hands-on experience:

• Killer Inn
• Octopath Traveler 0
• Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles
• Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade
• Dragon Quest X Online

This selection is particularly exciting for fans of the Octopath Traveler series, as The Adventures of Elliot is developed by Team Asano, the creative force behind the original games, and features the distinctive HD-2D visual style that has become a hallmark of many Square Enix titles. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy Tactics enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience the remake's demo before its official launch on September 30.

Attendees can look forward to more than just gameplay experiences. Square Enix will be distributing exclusive freebies including collectible stickers, thematic merchandise, and limited-time giveaways throughout the event.

One of the standout titles at Square Enix's booth is Killer Inn, an innovative asymmetrical PvP game that will offer beta test participation codes to lucky fans. These codes will be exclusively distributed to those who try the demo at the Tokyo Game Show, with limited quantities available. Additionally, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be playable ahead of its upcoming release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.

Beyond the physical event, Square Enix will host several live broadcasts for global fans. On September 27, the company will air a special presentation for the highly anticipated Octopath Traveler 0, followed by a stage event for Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake. September 28 will feature four separate broadcasts including behind-the-scenes content for the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game, a Super Dragon Quest X special, and stage events for both Final Fantasy Tactics — The Ivalice Chronicles and Final Fantasy 14.
