The Japanese expansion The Glory of Team Rocket marks the 10th installment in the Scarlet and Violet era of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. This highly anticipated set brings back the infamous Team Rocket, complete with themed accessories and booster boxes. Scheduled for release on April 18 in Japan, the expansion will later make its way to Western audiences as part of the Destined Rivals English set, launching on May 30.

Team Rocket remains one of the most iconic villainous groups in the Pokemon franchise, with a strong presence in both the anime and the trading card game. Over the years, several expansions have featured Team Rocket, including the classic Team Rocket set from 2000, which introduced Dark Pokemon like Dark Charizard and Dark Alakazam. Another notable release was EX Team Rocket Returns in 2004, which included 20 powerful Pokemon ex cards.

Latest Game Information

According to Poke Beach, Japanese fans have leaked details about 34 of the 98+ cards in the upcoming expansion. The set heavily features Team Rocket members alongside powerful Pokemon such as Moltres, Crobat, and Nidoking. Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, appears on 10 cards, including three alongside Mewtwo. The leaked list also includes 14 Pokemon ex cards and the Jamming Tower Stadium card. Notably, Jessie and James are absent, possibly due to their reduced role in recent Pokemon anime seasons. Latest Game Information
