Marvel Rivals is set to launch its highly anticipated mid-season 2.5 update on May 30, bringing a wave of new content to the popular hero shooter. The highlight of this update is the addition of the iconic villain Ultron to the game's roster. NetEase Games, the developer behind Marvel Rivals, has been steadily expanding the game with new characters and features, and this update is no exception.

Before the update goes live, players still have time to participate in two ongoing events: Galacta's Gift and Hellfire Gala Moments. Galacta's Gift celebrates the one-year anniversary of the game's Closed Alpha, offering rewards like Chrono Shield Cards, sprays, and a Costume Coin for completing daily matches. The Hellfire Gala Moments event has been extended, giving players an extra week to unlock a free Wolverine skin.

What to Expect in the 2.5 Update

The upcoming update introduces Ultron as a playable Strategist, capable of healing allies while dealing significant damage to enemies. Ultron will also have a unique team-up ability with Iron Man, allowing him to unleash a modified version of Iron Man's Uni-Beam.
