The developers of InZOI have recently announced a delay for the game's first major update, originally slated for late May. This InZOI update will introduce enhanced emotional mechanics for the game's Zois and an official modding toolkit. However, the team has decided to push the release to mid-June to ensure a polished and refined experience.

Launched in early access in 2025, InZOI is a life simulation game developed by InZOI Studio and published by Krafton. Inspired by The Sims, the game allows players to control characters known as Zois, managing their daily lives. InZOI sold over a million copies, quickly becoming a fan favorite, and peaked at 87,377 concurrent players shortly after its release.

Now, the developers have confirmed that the first major update for InZOI will be delayed to mid-June. According to the developer's Steam page, the delay is intended to "prioritize quality over speed." The team identified unintended side effects in the emotions system that require additional refinement. The update will also introduce the highly anticipated modding system, allowing players to upload mods to CurseForge and install them via the in-game browser, streamlining community content creation and sharing. Despite the delay, InZOI Studio has maintained a consistent update schedule for the popular life sim.
