Xbox Game Pass June 2025 Update: New Additions and Departures

2025-06-15 23:06:52

Xbox Game Pass is set to remove seven titles on June 15, 2025, including the beloved farming simulator My Time at Sandrock. Despite these departures, June 2025 could still be a strong month for the service, with several exciting new additions already available.

Microsoft's subscription service has introduced seven new games since the start of the month. The most recent addition is The Alters, a sci-fi survival game featuring a unique cloning mechanic, which launched on June 13.

The games leaving Xbox Game Pass on June 15 include:

  • My Time at Sandrock (post-apocalyptic farming sim)
  • Depersonalization (Cthulhu Mythos-based RPG)
  • Keplerth (2D sandbox survival RPG)
  • Dordogne (hand-painted adventure game)
  • Hypnospace Outlaw (surreal '90s internet sim)
  • Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends (cozy management sim)

For achievement hunters, Dordogne is a great choice to complete quickly, as it can be finished in just 3–4 hours. Other titles like Hypnospace Outlaw and Depersonalization are also relatively short but may require more time to fully complete.

The removals are expected to take effect around midnight local time. Microsoft is also anticipated to announce another wave of departures on June 30, alongside the Wave 2 lineup for June 2025.

Looking ahead, three more titles are scheduled to join Xbox Game Pass on June 17, including day-one releases Lost in Random: The Eternal Die and FBC: Firebreak. The Wave 2 lineup already confirms Rematch and the console versions of Against the Storm.

With 12 games already added or confirmed for June 2025 and only seven titles leaving in the first wave, Xbox Game Pass could still see a net positive this month. Subscribers can look forward to a diverse and engaging lineup of games.
