Blizzard Entertainment has officially revealed that World of Warcraft Patch 11.2, titled Ghosts of K'aresh, will launch on August 5. This marks the concluding major update for The War Within expansion, transporting players to the mysterious Ethereal homeworld consumed by the Void entity Dimensius.

The update introduces the Manaforge Omega raid, where players will ally with unexpected forces against Dimensius when Season 3 begins on August 12. Among the new features is the Reshii Wraps artifact cloak that evolves with player progression, and the return of Tazavesh as a strategic hub.

Patch 11.2 introduces innovative gameplay through Phase Diving – a mechanic enabled by the Reshii Wraps that reveals hidden quests and Ethereal perspectives. The update also includes:

• New Mythic+ dungeon rotation featuring Eco-Dome Al'dani
• The Archival Assault Delve in Dragon Isles
• Portal chamber in Tazavesh for quick Delve access
• Class tier sets and balance adjustments

Blizzard's announcement comes just weeks before their anticipated Midnight expansion reveal at Gamescom 2025, setting up an exciting August for WoW enthusiasts.
