Shift Up, the developer behind the hit action-adventure game Stellar Blade, is reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing the title to the Nintendo Switch 2. Originally released for the PlayStation 5 in April 2024 and later making its way to PC, Stellar Blade has been a major success for Sony. If these rumors hold true, the game could soon reach an even wider audience.

The Nintendo Switch 2, which launched in early June with a limited selection of first-party titles, has quickly built an impressive library of third-party games. Notable additions include Hogwarts Legacy, Split Fiction, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, and the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, set for release on July 11. Additionally, Borderlands 4 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade are expected to arrive on the console later this year. According to a report by the Korean website PlayForum, Shift Up has allegedly received a development kit for the Nintendo Switch 2 and has begun preliminary work to adapt Stellar Blade for the new platform. The PC version sold over one million copies within its first week, demonstrating strong demand beyond PlayStation.
