Delves, a new instanced content type introduced in The War Within expansion, offer dynamic storytelling with multiple possible narratives that rotate daily. These solo or group-friendly instances feature varying enemies, objectives, and pathways depending on which story variant is active. Currently, players must physically travel to a Delve's entrance to discover its current storyline - a time-consuming process that Patch 11.2 aims to eliminate.

The new tooltip functionality, currently available on the Public Test Realm (PTR), provides crucial information for completionists pursuing the Delve Loremaster: The War Within achievement. This challenging feat requires experiencing every storyline across all Delves and serves as a prerequisite for obtaining the prestigious Ivory Golianthus mount through the Glory of the Delver achievement.

Beyond achievement hunting, the feature empowers players to select Delve experiences that match their preferences. Some story variants may offer more enjoyable gameplay or better suit certain character specializations, while others might provide greater challenge for those seeking it. While Blizzard hasn't announced an official release date for Patch 11.2: Ghosts of K'aresh, historical update patterns suggest a probable launch around mid-August. The patch follows the recent 11.1.7 update from June and is expected to maintain the game's typical eight-week content cycle.
