Warframe's Isleweaver Expansion: A Deep Dive into the Latest Update

2025-06-26 11:13:35

Digital Extremes has launched the highly anticipated Isleweaver expansion for Warframe, now available on PC and consoles as part of Update 39. This update brings players back to the enigmatic world of Duviri with fresh narrative content, a time-limited Operation, and significant gameplay enhancements.

Since its debut over a decade ago, Warframe has seen 20 major expansions. The first of 2025, Techrot Encore, arrived in March. Now, Isleweaver continues this legacy with its release on June 25, introducing Operation: Eight Claw—a limited-time event running until July 16. Players will face Major Neci Rusalka and her Murmur forces, culminating in a thrilling boss battle against Oraxia, a spider-like rogue Warframe.

Oraxia marks Warframe's 61st playable character, embodying the essence of a perfect hunter with her poison and stealth abilities. She arrives with signature weapons: the Spinnerex whip, Scyotid secondary, and the Thalys Incarnon Heavy Scythe blueprint. The expansion also introduces The Unseeing Herald, a new Murmur enemy type that drops Temporal Dust, a resource for crafting Oraxia and her gear.

Isleweaver also refines Warframe's onboarding experience. Junction missions now offer clearer objectives and rewards, building on improvements from the Yareli Prime update. Additional updates include Valkyr's ability rework, new TennoGen items, Augment Mods, and quality-of-life fixes.

Key Features of Isleweaver

  • New Duviri Node: Scholar’s Landing, a floating isle with full Warframe loadouts and new Spiral missions.
  • Operation: Eight Claw: A time-limited event with unique rewards like Arcanes and Signas.
  • Oraxia: A spider-themed Warframe with toxic abilities and signature weapons.
  • Thalys Incarnon: A customizable heavy scythe with shard mechanics.
